CCPA Overview
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents specific rights regarding their personal information, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Under the CCPA, “selling” personal information means disclosing it to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” means disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
Our Practice: We Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade personal information collected through this website to any third party for monetary consideration, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This has been our practice since the ministry’s founding and remains our institutional policy.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement strictly for audience measurement and campaign attribution, with Google acting as our service provider. We do not operate remarketing audiences, advertising profiles, or cross-context behavioral advertising of any kind.
Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out action is required on your part. We provide this page to be transparent with California residents and to offer a clear channel for any privacy-related request.
Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:
Right to Know — You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.
Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.
Right to Correct — You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, so this right is not implicated by our current practices.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — You may limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes specified under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA through this website.
Right to Non-Discrimination — You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
How to Submit a Privacy Request
To exercise any of your California privacy rights, submit a request through one of the following methods:
Online — Use the institutional contact form and indicate that you are submitting a California privacy rights request.
In Writing — Send a written request to the Office of the Chairman at the address below.
Your request must include sufficient information to allow us to verify your identity and locate any personal information we hold about you: your full name, the email address or other contact information you previously submitted to us, and a description of your request.
Identity Verification
We are required to verify the identity of any individual submitting a CCPA request before responding with personal information or honoring a deletion request. We will use the information you provide to verify your identity against records we already hold, and may ask for additional verification if that information is insufficient.
Requests submitted by an authorized agent on your behalf must include a signed written authorization from you, or a power of attorney. We may contact you directly to confirm the authorization.
Response Time
We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of receipt. If we need additional time (up to 90 days in total), we will notify you in writing of the reason and the extension period within the initial 45-day window.
Global Privacy Control and Non-Discrimination
Because we do not sell or share personal information, browser-based opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) do not change how this website treats your data — there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. We honor the spirit of such signals through our standing practice.
The SAVI Ministries will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of service as a result of a privacy request.
