The SAVI Ministries, a Washington nonprofit religious corporation registered to operate in Florida, publishes this website as the institutional home of its publication ministry — reflections, books, publication series, and newsletter editions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This Privacy and Information Practices statement explains what information we collect through this website, the purposes for which we collect it, how it is safeguarded, with whom it may be shared, and the choices and rights available to you.

This statement applies to thesaviministries.com and to the ministry storefront at shop.thesaviministries.com, which is operated on the Beehiiv platform. It does not apply to information collected offline, or to third-party websites linked from this site — including retailer pages where our publications may be purchased — each of which is governed by its own privacy policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information when you choose to provide it: when you submit the contact form (name, email address, and the content of your message), when you subscribe to our newsletter (email address), when you make a purchase or donation through the ministry storefront (name, email address, and any shipping or billing details collected by the commerce platform), and when you write to us in connection with prayer, pastoral, or institutional matters.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit this website, our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard technical logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. In addition, we use Google measurement services — described in the Analytics and Measurement section below — to understand readership in aggregate: pages viewed, approximate geography derived from IP address, device and browser class, language preference, and interaction events such as newsletter signups, outbound retailer clicks, and donation activity.

Information We Do Not Collect

This website does not collect payment card numbers through any form we operate; payment details are collected and processed directly by the commerce platform and its payment processors and never reach our servers. We do not request Social Security numbers, government identification, or sensitive personal information as defined under applicable privacy law.

Purpose of Data Collection

Information collected through this website is used exclusively for legitimate ministry operations: responding to your inquiry or submission; delivering the newsletter editions and publications you have requested; fulfilling purchases and processing charitable contributions; measuring readership and the effectiveness of our outreach in aggregate; maintaining records of institutional communications; protecting the security and integrity of the website; and fulfilling our obligations as a faith-based nonprofit. We do not use your information for commercial profiling, behavioral advertising, or any purpose inconsistent with our charitable and religious mission.

Analytics and Measurement

This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how readers find and engage with our publications. We also use Google Ads conversion measurement in connection with our participation in the Google Ad Grants program for nonprofits. These tools are configured for audience measurement and campaign attribution only.

We do not operate cross-context behavioral advertising, remarketing audiences, or advertising profiles, and we do not sell or license measurement data to anyone. Measurement data is processed by Google as our service provider under its applicable data-processing terms.

You may decline analytics measurement at any time through your browser’s tracking controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. On the ministry storefront, measurement runs only after you accept the cookie notice presented there.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website uses the minimal technical cookies necessary for correct operation, together with the measurement cookies described in the Analytics and Measurement section. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking pixels. The Google Fonts service used for typography may set a limited technical cookie related to font delivery; this is a standard content-delivery function and does not involve behavioral tracking of your activity.

Affiliated Entities and Partners

We may share information with affiliated ministry partners where necessary to facilitate an institutional relationship you have initiated. No information is shared with partners for their independent commercial or marketing use.

Newsletter and Email Communications

Our newsletter is delivered through the Beehiiv platform. We send only the editions and announcements you have subscribed to receive. Every edition includes a one-click unsubscribe link; upon unsubscription your address is promptly removed from active distribution. We do not share subscriber lists with any third party for marketing purposes.

Purchases and Payment Information

Purchases and donations made through the ministry storefront at shop.thesaviministries.com are processed by Beehiiv and its payment processors. Payment card details are collected directly by those processors and are never stored on, or transmitted through, our servers. Purchases made through third-party retailers linked from this website — such as Amazon — are governed entirely by the retailer’s own terms and privacy policy.

Data Security

This website is served over HTTPS with SSL/TLS encryption. We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No electronic system is completely secure; for highly sensitive matters we recommend contacting the ministry directly through institutional channels rather than through web forms.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and as required by our governance policies and applicable law. Form submissions stored through Netlify are retained in accordance with Netlify’s standard retention practices. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained under the retention controls configured in Google Analytics.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted by contacting the Office of the Chairman through the institutional contact form. We respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe; certain records may be retained where required by law or governance policy. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
